If you bring in and open your own wine / beer / liquor and open it, we are required to remove you from the premises and contact the authorities and the State Liquor Board. Violators may be subject to fines and/or prosecution.

  • Our small bar is a popular spot!

Each night we take a small number of bar reservation requests. These are not guaranteed seating in the bar and are subject to change, however, we always do our best to accommodate the request.

The most effective way to request a spot in the bar (either bar top or table) is to call us regarding your reservation at 520.323.7739 and request directly. If you make a note on your online reservation, we may not be able to honor it (though we still do our best to try).

  • Yes. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), privately owned businesses that serve the public, such as restaurants, are prohibited from discriminating against individuals with disabilities. The ADA requires these businesses to allow people with disabilities to bring their service animals onto business premises in whatever areas customers are generally allowed.

Seating, food, and drink are provided for customer use only. The ADA gives a person with a disability the right to be accompanied by his or her service animal, but covered entities are not required to allow an animal to sit or be fed at the table.

If a service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, staff may request that the animal be removed from the premises.

Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.

Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA. These terms are used to describe animals that provide comfort just by being with a person. Because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, they do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and therefore per the Pima County Health Department, are not permitted in our facility.

  • Unfortunately, due to supply issues, environmental circumstances, market conditions, and generally just a bunch of things beyond our control, we're removing the lobster roll from the menu until further notice. The lobster in the Seafood Newburg will now be replaced by deep sea red crab. Our deepest apologies, we tried to figure out a good way around it while keeping prices reasonable, but in the end the consensus was that we'll keep an eye on conditions and re-evaluate for our spring menu in March/April. Please feel free to email me directly at jacki@kingfishertucson.com, or if I'm here, snag me if you have questions.

  • Yes! We are happy to special order a live lobster for you — we can prepare it here or arrange for you to take it home and cook it.
